Every report, citation, and numerous other documents filed by the Police Department are maintained by the records section and entered into databases.
Most records are available for public access Monday thru Friday
from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

An arrest history containing any arrest information initiated by the Hobbs Police
Department is available. A picture identification is required and there is a $10.00 charge. The request must be notorized if mailed in. The request must have copy of a state issued picture ID/License and must be notorized.
The price of copies is 50 cents a page, and if they are emailed or faxed there is an additional $1.00 for each transaction.
Fingerprinting is available for the public from Tuesday-Thursday at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Persons must furnish their own fingerprint cards. The cost of two cards is
$5.00, three or more cards is $10.00.
